Gosford Green Park

The people who attend it portray the human race;
When looked after it is nurtured and nourished;
But the park cannot even begin to flourish;
It has come to a standstill for the babies and kids;
There is nothing to play on;
But rubbish and pizza lids;
The idea of a climbing frame for the younger ones is futile;
An accident waiting to happen! A calamity in style!!
The council removed all the important equipment;
Due to health and safety within the system:
But what about replacing the features of play?
To engage and enrich our children of today;
The council informs me in my various calls;
That it is down to `lack of funds`, but I say `Balls! `
Why does Primrose Park have a `make over `twice?
Gosford Green is left behind, this is not suffice!
Gosford Green is central in our lives;
Walking dogs, a game of football, some exercise!
The area surrounding Gosford Green is being enhanced;
Would it not make sense to upgrade the park for a more quality glance?
